As a member of our account management team you strategically acquire, manage and develop important customers and play a vital role managing our business relations and revenue growth. You will be an essential part of InstaFreight’s journey to become Europe’s #1 digital road freight forwarder. Being one of the most important cornerstones in our customer centric sales organization, you are working closely with the teams of new business development, operations and marketing to ensure that our vision is transported towards our customers. To be successful in this role you will be balancing your hunter skills and farming capabilities, always focusing on how InstaFreight will be the best and most reliable partner for our shippers.

Your Responsibilities

  • You acquire customers in collaboration with the new business development team, but also develop and execute a sales pipeline on your own
  • Your hands-on and customer centric approach enables you to be InstaFreight’s brand ambassador and discover customer potentials that enable growth
  • You handle tenders, create transport packages and compose freight quotations in collaboration with the central tender management team, as well as deal with spot quotes and contracted business requests
  • You develop sales strategies, respond to RFPs and generate proposals that meet ours and your own ambitious sales objectives
  • You are encouraged to build trustful, long term relationships with our customers and be their “go to person” for all road transport related inquiries
  • You continuously work on improving the workflow of the various departments you work with, e.g Operations or Marketing

Your Profile

  • You have gained experience as a logistics, preferably as a sales expert. We are even more happy, if you already have a network of shippers you can build up on
  • You have a growth mindset and eventually already have grown a book of business and achieved measurable revenue milestones
  • You are a concise communicator, able to effortlessly engage across all levels of seniority across the business
  • You seek ownership of your responsibilities and love to work in teams
  • You are smart, inquisitive, ambitious, authentic, transparent and collaborative
  • You are comfortable working in an ambiguous, high growth and fast paced environment
  • You are fluent in German and English (French, Italian, Spanish or Polish language skills are highly welcome too)
